Ferguson Autosports makes its Debut

January 15, 2008

After two extremely busy weeks getting the Ferguson
Autosports team and car together, Warren Ferguson hit the
track in the sharp looking #32 Deco Glaze Eagle. This was
his debut event after recently leaving the Corfield Woods
team.

The night was used as shakedown run for the car and team,
with everyone involved pleased. It was a night however that
could have gone horribly wrong given the awful track
conditions at PCR which saw a number of cars flip or crash
as a result of a rough, tacky track surface.

Our final result on the night was 14th in the B-main, after
finishing 2nd in the C-main. This was due to starting near
the back of our heat courtesy of timing in 40th out of 55
cars. The night’s A-main winner was American domiciled
Aussie, Skip Jackson.

“This is quite a different car to what I have run in the
past and we struggled to make it turn on the rough track.
Our motor ran very well and we look forward to the next
event where we can tune the car to use what the motor has
to offer. On the whole the team functioned very well and
there were next to no hiccups on the night which was great
given how quickly this deal was put together.” said Warren.

A massive thank you goes out to all involved for their
efforts. The Crew and friends of the team have all worked
tirelessly and our sponsors Deco Glaze, Fruitwheels and
Visual Impact have been instrumental with added involvement
including Fruitwheels providing a transporter and Deco
Glaze paint and panel.

Our next race will be 31st January – Night 1 of the
Australian Title at PCR. In the meantime be sure to call by

End release.
