Consistency returns for Warren Ferguson

December 9, 2009

9th December 2009

This coming week Warren Ferguson and his team look forward to returning to the track with the Fruitwheels, Why Walk Used Cars, Deco Glaze, G&S Autos, Visual Impact supported Maxim.

They also look forward to picking up right where they left off on November 21st Twin Feature Night at PCR.

Qualifying consistently in the top 10 and finishing there has brought some confidence to Warrens driving of late. Twin Feature Night on November 21 was no exception with Warren qualifying in 9th, transferring through his heat to the main and starting from position 7 in the first of two 20 lap races. A hard fought race resulted in a 6th place finish for the team before a 7 minute interval on the main straight allowing teams to adjust cars and add fuel for the 2nd 20 lap encounter.

Starting position 6 - where he finished in feature 1, Warren was confident of moving forward however officials let go a messy start that shuffled Warren backward about 5 spots before the first corner. Through the race the N32 car fought back to 7th only to run slightly of track while racing another car for position. The result was 10th place.

"We'll take it" said Warren. "We were consistently fast and only just out of the top 5 in the field of 44 cars that started the night. Our consistency is better, our set-ups have improved and we will look forward to our next race".

That race is this Saturday night December 12 at Parramatta City Raceway. We look forward to seeing you all there. In the mean time please check out our sponsors via the links below.
