Ferguson Prepares for Busy Holiday Race period

As 2009 comes to a close Ferguson Autosport prepares for the busy Christmas / New Year racing period.
After a solid start to the year the team are currently in the process of freshening the engine ready for racing on December 26th - Boxing Day, for the first night of the PCR International season. From there the plan is to race Dece 29th, Jan 2nd, 3rd and 9th. Thats 5 nights in two weeks and some solid coverage for our sponsors Fruitwheels Transport, Visual Impact, G&S Automotive, Why Walk Used Cars and Deco Glaze.
Last week, December 12th found Warren looking strong after starting with the 13th fastest qualifying time out of a tough 45 car field. However a tough heat and race long battle with national champ Garry Brazier for the final transfer found Warren missing the cut by one spot. A strong 2nd place in the B-main pushed Warren into the A-main that resulted in a15th place result from near the back of the field.
"We moved up to about 12th quite quickly and I was thinking our 4th top 10 in a row was capable, but our set up was too tight and I struggled to turn the car as the race went on falling back to 15th" said Warren. "It was still pleasing to see our speed is there and I'm looking forward to some great runs during the upcoming holiday period".
The teams previous race on November 21st found the team finishing 6th and 10th in the "Twin-Feature" format. The night started with 9th quick time and was considered a success for the team.
